Oxford Maine rehab.

These are before and after pictures of a project I completed this past spring in Oxford, Maine. The house was aquired by the bank and sold to a private gentleman. He asked me to rehab the outside and plans to resell within a couple of years. This home received new energy efficient windows, high quality siding and a 30 year architectural shingle roof.

Our partner company, True Craft Carpentry, is owned and operated by Dan McLellan, a veteran builder who has shown up in publications such as This Old House Magazine and the Portland Press Herald. He has spent his career honing the finer skills needed to work on some of the most prestigious structures in the state. Dan has made a living producing high efficiency homes for the people of Maine and makes a great compliment to Jim's already formidable skills.

Oh, right... you want to know why you should partner with us and not some other contractor. It's simple, really.

1) We're less expensive because we aren't dumping $3,000 a week into television and radio campaigns. Our references speak for us and our product speaks for itself.

2) As self employed, insured, businesses we can offer you a price that's based on Materials, Labor and a small mark-up to cover our limited overhead. We aren't obligated to pay for exorbitant workman’s compensation policies as we don't have employees. When we need additional help, we draw from a pool of well known, reputable self employed builders to assist. Hold on now, this isn't the "subcontractor" scheme you hear about where we hire some guy off the street and give him $100 under the table. The builders we network with are legitimate business people who spend their days working on their projects, and even call one of us for some help when they need it.

OK. Now what are you waiting for? Call for a free estimate on your next project. Call Jim Savage 436-5008
